FREE NFCA Webinar
"Does Your Society Need to Overhaul Its Identity?"
Recently, these fraternal benefit societies changed their names and are in the process of communicating this significant development to their members and other key audiences:
Catholic Aid Association has been renamed Catholic United Financial
Mennonite Mutual Aid has been renamed Everence

Why did they do it?  Was it an effort to become a more modern membership organization?  What was the process each of these societies used to determine the need for the change, develop viable options and ultimately convince their membership to approve the change?  During this complimentary webinar, you will hear from fraternal leaders and from brand strategist Aartrijk on the importance of branding your society in a strategic manner.  A name change is just one part of an identity overhaul and the challenge is modernization while staying true to fraternalism.

Presenters: Mike McGovern, President and Chairman of the Board, The Catholic Aid Association (soon to become Catholic United Financial); Steve Bowers, Vice President of Marketing, Mennonite Mutual Aid Association (soon to become Everence); and Maureen Wall-Bentley, Vice President, Brand Strategy, Aartrijk.

"NFCA Branding Initiative: Why It Matters; Why Your Vote Counts"
During this FREE webinar, learn all about the NFCA Branding Initiative
a project that has resulted in the NFCA Board of Directors' recommendation that the name of the organization be changed to American Fraternal Alliance.

This is a major step in the association’s critical initiative to enhance awareness and relevance of the fraternal system with key audiences – public policy makers; agents and brokers; opinion leaders in the media; and prospective members.  NFCA Member delegates will vote on the historic proposal to change the name of the NFCA to the American Fraternal Alliance at the 2010 Annual Meeting, September 9-11, in Chicago.
